One of Plasma’s Most Trusted Contractor’s is Now a Certified Minority Business Enterprise

Stough Development Corporation — Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certified

As of June 28, 2024, Stough Development Corporation is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), based on the Stough family’s Choctaw Native American heritage.

Applying for the MBE certification was an extensive process. Due to Michael Stough’s grandfather being on the Choctaw roll in 1902 when the Indian Nations were dissolved, Michael and Scott have Native American status. Businesses owned by Native Americans are considered minority enterprises.

1. When you work with Stough, you are using an MBE

By law, 23% of federal contracts must be awarded to small businesses. Five percent of those contracts must go to minority-owned contractors with 8a certification.

You don’t have to sweat this obligation—or the desire to show a commitment to diversity in general—any longer. Now one of the most trusted names in plasma—Stough Development Corporation—is a certified minority business.

It can be a challenge to find a minority contractor you can count on to do the job right. Excelling in plasma for over 40 years, Stough has a sterling reputation in the industry—and now provides partners with a no-extra-work, value-adding minority contractor solution.
